One thing you’d learn about Splashmilk is that that he gets bored very easily, constantly covet for new interests, flitting from project to project as apparently purposelessly as a butterfly dancing from flower to flower, sucking the dews out of its all. To me, life is a game which must always be full of fresh moves and continuous entertainments, and also… if it’s good enough to be served with free booze and joints? I’d die a happy man.

Online buddy Jasonmumbles knew it all along when i told everyone that i am departing from the blogasphere for a week (or more?) working on that “something”. And Bingo! Jasonmumbles… you’re absolutely correct!

I’ve decided to play a few new photoshop tricks bringing in the flying helium balloons and rockets in one package. Something edgy, cool and mischievously fun at the same time.

The current (soon to be a past tensed) wordpress theme is favored by everyone, even myself. But as the nature of my quirk took over, I got bored of it soon. And that is when, I’ve decided to just sit down squeezing my brain juices, drafting my conceptual design.

And Wah Lah!

This is what came out after more than a week of mad photoshop and illustrator play-around, the whole themes were greatly influenced by PatBelly’s ear candy crave on Mika’s “Happy Ending” and my personal fave on young Youtube star Daniel Talevski’s “Rocket and Go”.

Yes, i know. I was that random and spontaneous uh?

And as you can see, I’ve cut down the amount of plugins in the blog, talk about urban simplicity, splashmilk.com has now gone faster, bolder and… weirder.

Oh c’mon, just say it… say “OMFG, i love your new banner!”… say you love me, bitch!

Bet it’s okay to let loose your cockiness once in a while. :)

Not long ago, i was messing around with some logo design. Quite zealously, i hurdled across thousands if not hundreds of typography, online logo resources and experimenting them with various crazy possibility. The attempt was so much rabid to the extent that i feel less like i am getting things done and more like things are getting me done instead.

  • At the end of the day, I have more dubious fonts than i should have in my font archives, be it named from Bitmap, Sans serif till Dingbats.
  • At the end of the day, I have more dubious fonts that every kooky name of these fonts are saturated in my brain like fart in a bathtub.
  • At the end of the day, I have more dubious fonts that i told my friend, Frederick …
  • “U know what, Fred? Maybe i could name my children after a font, like *This is my son, Tahoma?!* or *That’s my daughter, and her name’s Calibri!*, yes? No?”

And :?: … is what he gave me.

So, which one of these do you prefer?

Wassup homie? Ever since i last logged my status with the weblogging community (which is like what? Three days ago?), I have been much recuperating from weariness, ambushing by the quantum of daily exhaustions like a mad pinball, continuously been banged, sprung, leaped, swung, bounced and jounced to almost all over the places which made me a hideously crashed Humpty Dumpty.

Now that i am allowed to be subjected to a quiescent mind, i have been replenishing the parched aquifer of my restfulness like a well-baked coach potato. The excessive extra leisure time fell upon me like a falling masonry, so free until I have no idea what to do with myself sometimes, i then decided to direct my concentration to lots of magazine reading and graphical resourcing which streamlined my decision to finally replenished my old desktop to another new look.

This was the look of my desktop which i had my eyes sticked to for almost four months already and gosh, i can’t believe I’m so much capable of been committed with it for so long. ( :!: note: click for bigger image)

After much heavy considerations and a little bit sprinkles of magic on the wallpaper, icons and applications here and there. WAH LAH! This is how it looks like now. ( :!: note: click for bigger image)

And that verdant vibrator-like funny looking screaming creature there have had me flooded with torrential adrenalin rushes every time i looked at it. Sometimes i can even hear it giving out a surreal screaming farce on his hunger for a fruitful feminine blossom,

    “Where’s my Virgina?! Buzzzzz! Where’s my… Buzzz… Virgina?!”

    See? There he screams again.
