Okay so as much as you can see. I’ve vowed to return to the * blogasphere * from an almost 3 months long of procrastination, why oh me oh my! Doesn’t time seem to woosh by like you running to the loo with a stomach ache after the yesterday’s curry?
While i reckoned i was so much over the weblog errand already, yet i bet i was wrong as i can’t seem to shake off blogging just as easy as i thought it would be. It’s everywhere i go with friends questioning
“why aren’t you updating your blog?”, The lust for it is just there…
… like fart in the bathtub.
And here i am, self-acclaimed defeated by my passion towards sharing out my lunacy.

The new splashmilk.com layout was reversed-engineered from the fabulous “Salmon” themes by Justin Shattuck, which for its key elements derived from the mainly blue spectrum, it’s not a rocket science thing to work out why the themes is named as such. I had few bugs fixed, few remodification and refinement made to the original (which is what Proton’s really good at and we all know that.) and i’ve awkwardly named it “Shashimi”
So what’s new in the new splashmilk.com

- To Alan Bernard from F’kin Mayhem: Uncle, now you can stop bulleting out those gruelling complaints on me not having a “home” buttons. You can now either click on the upper top “Home” tab or that little logo with a young decent lad holding a milk cup there. Yes, that’s it. Now go play with it, you “home” button molester.

- Thanks to Alex King’s twitter plugin, I’ve increased the number of twitter posts displayed now on top of the sidebar so that you demanding readers can read the newest updates from me even when i’m not updating the main post. Oh Sweet Mother Mary Poppins, twitters is so addictive.
- I will be tagging each posts now onwards into a more standardized categories like food, events and all.
- And under the tag, you’ll be noticing the “Share This” plugins developed by once again, none other than Alex King himself. Feel free to share it out to varioius Social webs or even email it to your friends if you find any of my particular post that gives you the hives.

- For the music lovers, i’ve shared out the CD albums on the sidebar under “Music” on the recent ear candies that i’m listening to. These list shall be updated regularly. So check it out!
- A contact form is here if you feel like knowing me, share me some crazy ideas, collaborate with me on some graphic project or even just want a narrative device so that you can whine about why your girlfriend ran away with the gardener. Go on… I’m all here for you.
- Finally, i’m implementing a “browser sniff” plugins to the comment area so that from now onwards to show that tiny little browser icon depending on which internet browser you are using to view my site. It’s nothing special, it’s there just to humiliate the IE user because seriously, IE sucks big time.
Generously, i’m sharing out the list of plugins that i’m implementing in splashmilk.com for your reference as i feel that every bloggers should take their blog seriously to make “reading blog a better and experience”.
Download the plugins from list below:
“Sweet Titles” Javascript Mouse Fading Tooltips by Dunstin Diaz (scroll your mouse on any links in this page and you will know)
“Twitter Tools” by Alex King for your updated twitters on blog.
“WP-User Online” by Lester Chan to show the current active users online reading the blog.
“Get Recent Comment” by Krischan Jodies for updated comments made by readers.
“Show Top Commentators” by Nate Sanden, as the plugin’s name suggested, isnt it obvious enough?
“Last.FM Records” by Dog of Dirk, show the album cover for the music you are listening to from Last.fm, the coolest online social radio network!
“IP 2 Nation”, by Per Gustafsson to show which country you are blogging from.
“Browser Sniff” by Priyadi Iman for those 16 x 16 pixels icons that you are using to view the blog. By the way, IE still sucks.
Well, I guess that’s about the every snippet of them all. Enjoy downloading them and if you by any chance, are stuck anywhere till the sky falls on your head, feel free to drop me a mail here.
Meanwhile, like i’ve said,
“Life’s a diarrhea, you sit on toilet whole day. Then PUK PIAK! There comes the damn flood!”
Let’s make blogging another new experience. This is Mikel, signing off. And i shall be seeing you all again, perhaps… tomorrow?
