Literally speaking, splashmilk.com is still under construction. A new sleek laptop is needed before i can actually update this site in a more regular basis. Bloody Hell! I vow not to be tied down by the errand of updating the blog everyday (reason served that i might push myself to the bottleneck faster than the flick of your fingers that you could ever imagine!)

Yesterday, Splashmilk was cruising the way around Midvalley. And look what has i found? A Bridal Fashion Show!

“2006 is a good year for marriage !”, as quoted by most of the elders.

So mind you, for any ladies out there … are you tempted to wear this fairytale-like bridal gown? Is your heart touched by the allurement of embroidery floral artwork? Once of a lifetime?

YES?

Then gentlemen …

YOU ARE DEAD DEAD DEAD!

Now die under that couture’s price tag.

In the meantime … feeding your appetite, here’s some of the shots i took at the fashion show. Shooting these photos were hard, because the workers there forbid me from taking the photos. But like Devil may cares … I would have to stand afar and zoom all the way to the models whilst keeping an eye on the staff so that they don’t catch me sneaking a picture or two! Holla! Hide and seek time, babe!

And the end of the day … hundreds of shoots were snapped surreptitiously. Claps Claps!

Pretty uh? Indulged? Oh by the way … do remind yourself. How much do you think these couture we’re looking at now will possibly cost us?

Mikel is me … and dysphoria is really not my thing. If you by any chance have known me long enough from Tabulas Louyau to Louyau.net (Two and a half years in total … That’s long!) until the now Splashmilk.com. With all strenous efforts, i would do ANYTHING to forbid such threatening turmoil.

It’s toxic to me, when thing has gone unbearably sour between us. And four long months trying to get our friendship back into unit, the feedback was poor … I was constantly bombarded with anguish.

Because when things like this happen, I’m just not the expert …I have poor requisites in dealing with it. I couldn’t find myself walking over it JUST LIKE THAT albeit all the kibitz from people around me …

But then … I finally gave up, and that’s four months later. Miraculously, just as i was getting all pack up. Then a new turn approaches me. So there … we’re okay again? That’s it … with one simple apology. That’s it … just like that.

I sit here losing in translation, struggle my way into defining the means of confusion, the denial, the ambiguity … The prepositions are scaringly co-linear.

The whole encounter is like diarrhoea, you sit on the toilet bowl for the whole day. Then suddenly, first comes the fart … a short one.

Then another longer and louder one …

And the next moment before you could notice?

Somehow, I’m still in quandary if i did the right thing to retain the frienship. But in reference of what Kellster wrote …

Surreal conversations with dad over the phone are deviant. Especially when daddy had has this quirks of calling me every freaking day !!! (Mind you … I’m not complaining)

Dad: Boy ar, remember … Dont walk close along the wall!
Me: Why?
Dad: ‘Cause those *thing* walk float drift fly along the wall!
Me: Like rats?
Dad: Exactly *snaps*

And the night before yesterday’s yesterday …

Dad: Boy ar … remember … Dont look up when going down the stair case!
Me: Why?
Dad: Cause those *thing* hide under the stair case!
Me: Like sparrows?
Dad: Exactly! *snaps*
And! The night before yesterday …

Dad: Boy ar … remember … Dont ever whistle in the night!
Me: And why is that?
Dad: ‘Cause those *thing* …!

There was a long pause of silence over the phone, then i heard dad spoke to grandma behind him.

Dad: Ma … your grandson dah dirasuk hantu!
